WiNG 5.2 introduces support for one new Independent Access Point platforms: AP 6521 2X2 MIMO 802.11n Single radio Access Point
WiNG 5.2 supports the following Independent Access Point platforms.
•AP 6511– AP6511‐5.2.0.0‐�69R.img
•NEW : AP 6521 – AP6521‐5.2.0.0‐�69R.img
•AP 6532 – AP6532‐5.2.0.0‐�69R.img
•AP 7131/AP7131N – AP71XX‐5.2.0.0‐�69R.img
•802.11n Outdoor AP 7161 ‐AP 71XX‐5.2.0.0‐�69R.img

This firmware image also includes software for Virtual Controller functionality on the AP 7131 and AP 6532. AP 6511 has been available as an Independent AP v5.0.1 onwards with Virtual Controller capability. AP 6532 and AP 7131 were available as site survivable Adaptive APs for controller based deployments in WiNG v5.1, but with WiNG v 5.2, they are now available as Independent Access Points with their own GUI and CLI for Independent AP configuration and management.
